Engagement Model
How a principal
is taken on.
Four phases. One principal at the firm. Strictest confidence at every step.
Engagement begins with referral and a single conversation. From there, the work proceeds through four phases. Each is held personally by a named principal at the firm.
The Phases
Referral, doctrine,
architecture, hold.
Each engagement moves through the same four phases. Each has a deliverable. Each ends with a written decision point.
01
Referral
Introduction reaches the firm through a trusted source. A single conversation establishes whether the engagement is one we accept.
02
Doctrine
The principal's controlling position is written down. The document becomes the standard every subsequent action is filtered against.
03
Architecture
The surfaces, systems, and operational rhythms that hold the doctrine are designed and installed.
04
Hold
The firm holds the architecture on an ongoing retainer. Reviewed quarterly. Adjusted as the principal's standing evolves.
Who Holds The Engagement
Named principal.
Single channel.
Every engagement is held by a named principal at the firm. There is no account team layer between the client and the work. Communication runs through a single nominated channel.
Confidential Inquiry
Engagements are by referral and invitation only.
If a trusted source has introduced you to the firm, or if you believe your situation warrants direct contact, a senior principal will reply within forty-eight hours.
